Celebrated reggae icon, vocalist and drummer Ras Trevor Hall known as Ras Jabulani launched his nine track album titled “Africa Where is that Paradise’’ that speaks on the need for Africans to unite.

The album features the title track, ‘Healing the Nation’, ‘Joy Inna Afrika’ and ‘My Afrikan Empress’.

It was a reggae family festival at Chitsuwa Gardens on Sunday where Jamaican born reggae musician Ras Trevor Hall launched his new album backed by his band Crucial Showcase.

The album has songs that preach unity among Africans.

It is also about the beauty and rich continent of Africa.

The Crucial Showcase Band which is made up of Ras Lawrence Gringo and Jah Bless who were curtain raisers at the event put up a sterling performance that left the Rastafarian community and reggae fans clamouring for more.

Ras Trevor Hall called on local musicians to work together in order to penetrate the international markets.

Hall who is now based in Zimbabwe has helped many local reggae and Zimdancehall artists into becoming professional musicians.

Trevor Hall grew up in Northampton in the 1970s which was home to the first black self-help centres and the biggest sound systems in the area.
