ahmadinejad-mugabe.jpgZimbabweans have been urged to rally behind the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Cde Robert Mugabe who is being persecuted by the western world for standing against neo-colonialism.

The call was made by Ayatollah Moallemi, a member of the Council of Experts for the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Moallemi, a top cleric and former MP in the Islamic Republic of Iran, is in Zimbabwe ahead of his country’s 32nd anniversary which falls on the 11 of this month.

Speaking to ZBC News through an interpreter, the cleric said Zimbabweans are blessed to have a brave, resilient and resolute leader who has stood against western dictates for the total liberation of the masses.

The former MP in the Islamic republic of Iran blamed clashes between Christians and Moslems on the western world which is bent on fanning violence along religious lines.

Since the success of the Islamic revolution of Iran in 1979, the country has been under sanctions from the so called developed world, but has advanced technologically becoming one of the seven countries that have nuclear power and launched a satellite into space, a fit which Zimbabwe can emulate.
