The Castle Premier Soccer League (PSL) resumes after an international break which saw the Warriors beat Liberia 3-nil at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday in their opening 2019 AFCON qualifier.

PSL action resumes this evening under floodlights at the National Sports Stadium when defending champions, Caps United take on struggling Bantu Rovers.

The injury hit Green Machine have a demanding programme both in the CAF Champions League and PSL, where they have a backlog of fixtures.

After today’s PSL match, Caps United will travel to Tunis to meet Al Ahli Tripoli in a CAF Champions League group match set for next Tuesday.

Skipper Hardlife Zvirekwi, defenders Dennis Dauda and Valentine Musarurwa, goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda, winger Tafadzwa Tusike and veteran striker Leonard Tsipa are still battling with injuries.

In tonight’s match, Makepekepe, who dropped points in their last two matches, could give a run to some of their fringe players ahead of their injured regulars.

In other PSL fixtures scheduled for Wednesday, Chapungu host Bulawayo City at Ascot Stadium, Chicken Inn host ZPC Kariba at Luveve, FC Platinum host Harare City at Mandava,  Black Rhinos host Highlanders at Morris Depot and Triangle host Shabanie Mine at Gibbo Stadium.

On Thursday, Bantu Rovers host Tsholotsho at Luveve at 1.pm, while How Mine host Yadah FC also at Luveve in a double header.

Resurgent Dynamos host Ngezi Platinum Stars at the National Sports Stadium at 7.pm, while the Hwange versus Caps United game has been postponed.
