The opening of a new beverage plant in Harare has contributed to a significant reduction in prices of drinks in Zimbabwe.
This comes as one of the positive results brought about by the new dispensation whose thrust is luring investors.
The development has seen the local beverage company, which has been enjoying monopoly, reducing their prices, much to the delight of consumers.
An economic analyst, Mr Zack Murerwa believes that the opening of the market through the Zimbabwe is open for business mantra has the capacity to reduce prices of all consumer goods and correct the price distortions of commodities.
Ordinary citizens have already seen the positive development and applauded the government for the good initiative of luring investors.
Apart from beverages, there are a number of products whose prices have been reduced in some shops.
