Speaking soon after the handover of  2 tonnes of maize seed and 2 tonnes of fertiliser to over 300 urban farmers in Belvedere, Harare, several beneficiaries under the Presidential Inputs Support Scheme expressed their gratitude to President Mugabe for the input assistance programme.

ZANU PF Chairman for Harare Central District Ward 5, Cde Abraham Samushonga encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the inputs and contribute towards government’s goal of ensuring food security in the country.

The Presidential Inputs Support Scheme which is apolitical and is administered in all the country’s provinces has over the years played a critical role in availing farming inputs to small holder farmers.
