rgmugabe.jpgHead of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe, returned home yesterday from Tehran, Iran where he attended the 14th summit of the G-15.


At the summit, President Mugabe called for the G-15 to redouble its efforts to press for the reform of the United Nations and its principal organ, especially the Security Council, to make it more democratic.
After the summit President Mugabe held separate meetings with the Iranian President, Mr  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Islamic Republic of Iran supreme leader Sayed Ali Khameini Ayatollah.


Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa has assumed the G-15 Chairmanship.
