The process to impeach President Robert Mugabe has begun with the Speaker of Parliament Advocate Jacob Mudenda reading the rules and regulations of how are they are supposed to proceed.
Members of parliament and senate across the political divide were all in the house when the motion was moved and seconded.
The deliberations are expected to begin at 1630 hours today and are expected to run until 3 am tomorrow (Tuesday).
A 9-member committee is expected to be put in place.
Zanu PF chief whip Cde Lovemore Matuke said President Mugabe is expected to receive a letter of the outcome by tomorrow evening (Wednesday) or Thursday morning.
