robert-mugabe.jpgThe Head of State and Government and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces President Robert Mugabe, has sent a message of condolences to the Mtukudzi and Chimhare families, following the death of Sam and Owen in a car accident.


In a statement President Mugabe said this particular accident dramatises yet again the hazards always  stalking the country’s  road users more-so the youths. 


He said the nation, has been robbed of two youngsters of great promise and future in the music industry.


President Mugabe said he always followed the musical career of the Mtukudzi family, which through Sam and his sister Selma appeared set to broaden.


On behalf of the inclusive government and his family Cde Mugabe expressed his heartfelt condolences to the two families and advised them that the nation joins them in the mourning of the departure of their sons.

President Mugabe urged the nation to take a moment to reflect and acknowledge the demanding role fulfilled by all artists, both the living and departed.


He said the artists define the soul of the nation, inspiring it to greater personality and accomplishments.
