The on-going 58th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) will be officially opened today by Namibian President Hage Geingob.
The official opening ceremony will be held at the ZITF arena.
President Geingob, who is also the guest of honour at the ZITF has arrived in Bulawayo this morning for this year’s official opening ceremony.
He was met at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport by His Excellency President Robert Mugabe, the First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe, the two vice presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko, cabinet ministers and senior government officials.
President Geingob and President Mugabe and their spouses are expected to tour exhibition stands before the official opening ceremony.
The ceremony will also see the best stands at the trade fair walking away with prizes.
The 58th edition of the ZITF started on Tuesday, April 25 and the curtain comes down tomorrow.
