president mugabe 14-12-10.jpgThe Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe, has been described as a leader who is keen to see an equittable distribution of the country’s resourses to all Zimbabweans.

Speaking at Royden School in Zvimba East where he was distributing 30 tonnes of Compound D fertiliser to farmers from Nharira, Muzinda and Royden political districts, Zanu PF member and Zvimba Ward 26 Councillor, Cde Francis Mukwangwariwa, commended President Mugabe’s broad-based economic programmes meant to alleviate poverty.

He said President Mugabe’s selflessness is also shown by his desire to see the gap between the filthy rich and the poor closed, through his empowerment programmes both in agriculture and mining.

Cde Mukwangwariwa, who is a ZANU PF Zvimba District co-Coordinating Committee Secretary for Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, has so far distributed hundreds of tonnes of fertiliser and maize seed to more than 4 500 in Zvimba East and South constituencies since December last year.
