president returns from moza 19.10.11.pngThe Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe has returned home from a three-day visit to Mozambique.

Cde Mugabe attended the Samora Machel International Colloquium and was amongst the leaders who this Wednesday laid wreathes on the tomb of the late Cde Machel.

President Mugabe also attended the unveiling of a 10-metre statue of Cde Machel at the Independence Square in central Maputo.

The widow of the late hero, Cde Graca Machel appealed to President Mugabe and other leaders from the region to assist in finding out what killed her late husband.

Soon after his arrival at the Harare International Airport, Cde Mugabe told journalists that he is willing to assist Cde Graca Machel on the actual cause of the death of Cde Machel.

He was received at the airport by Vice President John Landa Nkomo, government officials and service chiefs.
