The Johanne Marange Apostolic Church has commended the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and assured him of the church’s support of his administration.
President Mnangagwa this Saturday attended the church’s passover ceremony at its headquarters in Mafararikwa where speaker after speaker described the President as a God-fearing leader who sticks to the principles of servant leadership.
The church leaders assured Cde Mnangagwa of the church’s support, stating that their relations should be cherished and emulated by other leaders.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa told the gathering that the church is critical in promoting peace, love and respect, virtues the President said should be passed on to the younger generation.
Those who attended the passover ceremony also described the church’s leader, the High Priest Mutumwa Noah Taguta as a visionary leader.
The Johane Marange Church is famous for promoting educational development through the construction of schools in communities and promoting agriculture productivity.
President Mnangagwa was accompanied by ministers; Cde Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri, Cde Monica Mutsvangwa, Dr Ellen Gwaradzimba, Cde Sekai nzenza and Deputy Minister Cde Mike Madiro among others.
