President Robert Mugabe has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the mid-term review African Union summit.

He was warmly welcomed at the Bole International Airport by Zimbabwe’s permanent representative to the AU, Ambassador Albert Ranganai Chimbindi, Foreign Affairs Minister, Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi who travelled ahead of the President’s delegation and Zimbabwe embassy staff members.

Cde Mugabe who is accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Mr George Charamba and some senior government officials inspected a guard of honour before proceeding to the VVIP Lounge.

Several heads of state from the continent have also arrived for the leaders’ summit.
