President Emmerson Mnangagwa is attending Uganda’s 57th Independence celebrations currently underway in Sironko District, Uganda.
Ugandan President, Dr Yoweri Museveni invited President Mnangangwa to be a special guest at Uganda’s independence anniversary.
Uganda gained independence from Britain in October 1962.
Zimbabwe and Uganda share cordial relations, with Dr Museveni having officially opened this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, in Bulawayo.
The celebrations are being held under the theme: ‘Consolidation of National Unity, Security, Freedom and Prosperity’.
