Namibian President Hage Geingob and President Emmerson Mnangagwa held bilateral discussions on the sidelines of the ongoing 31st African Union Summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania last night.

President Geingob, who had earlier joined other African leaders to condemn the White City stadium terror attack and attempt on Cde ED’s life, had a one-on-one discussion with President Mnangagwa after the plenary discussions by African leaders in Nouakchott.

He told the media afterwards that brothers and neighbours have a lot of issues to discuss without shading much light.

President Geingob was among the world leaders to send messages of condemnation of the assassination attempt on President Mnangagwa and expressing condolences over the loss of lives by those caught up in the attack over a week ago.
