The Dr Joice Mujuru led People’s Rainbow Coalition aspiring National Assembly member for Bulawayo Central Reverend Frank Mhlanga says he has covered enough ground to win the elections and represent the people of his constituency with a number of projects lined up to transform the lives of the people for better.

Reverend Mhlanga is a man on a mission to claim the seat of the area come July 30 with a number of campaigning strategies lined up to lure the electorate to his side.

The ZBC News crew witnessed the man of cloth and his campaign team having one on one engagements with the electorate in the City of Kings where he was promising the people that he will set up developmental projects and create employment for the youth.

“I am a very practical man who is already engaged in a number of projects to empower the people of Bulawayo. As I speak to you, there are women and youths already working on producing floor polish and other products for resell. Such projects are expected to continue while funding will be sought to ensure that the people are empowered,” he said.

On the effectiveness of the campaigning strategy he has adopted, Reverend Mhlanga said people are expressing satisfaction on the clarity of his PRC manifesto while emphasizing that his reputation as a pastor is earning him enough respect among the electorate whom he said are fed up by dishonest politicians.

“The people are quite impressed with the message we are spreading as a political outfit. The fact that I am a man of cloth is giving them confidence as they are tired of crooks who have been stealing from them,” said Reverend Mhlanga.

The PRC is one of the 23 political outfits that successfully nominated a presidential candidate for the 30th of this month’s harmonised elections.
