Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga says the 2018 elections come with a guarantee from the ruling party for the protection of the future and an improvement of lives for youths through employment creation, financial inclusion and support for innovators and entrepreneurs.

As 30 July draws closer, the Zanu PF campaign trail is gaining traction with Vice President, Retired General Chiwenga descending on Mabelreign where he addressed youths and other party supporters.

The Vice President implored the youths to give their vote to President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zanu PF as the seven months after operation restore legacy had proven how committed to transforming the country’s economy Cde Mnangagwa is.

“Our youths are the human resource, well educated and the best on the continent. The finite underground mineral resources, our land, fine weather, we want to bring jobs to the youth, because we have knowledge we will be able to innovate and create jobs and other opportunities for our people. We want to invite more investors but also support our own through local direct investment, we will offer incentives to retool the local industry so that graduates can be employed,” he said.

Youths and Zanu PF supporters who attended the Mabelreign rally said they believe in the commitment made by the leadership and eagerly await the 30 of July to cast their ballot.

Vice President Chiwenga later addressed another rally at Kuwadzana 2 Secondary School grounds where he implored the electorate to vote for Zanu PF candidates for the country to fully realise its potential.

With only three weeks before the harmonised elections, the election period has been very peaceful with a commitment by the new administration for a credible, transparent, free and fair election.
