court.jpgPolice have dismissed as false claims by businessman Temba Mliswa that he sold police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri a generator.

 
The police was responding to a statement by Mliswa in court  claiming that he sold one of the six generators he is accused of stealing to Cde Chihuri.

 
In a statement, Police Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Wayne Bvudzijena said Cde Chihuri has never socially or otherwise, had any relationship with Mliswa.

He said the only relationshiop that exist between Cde Chihuri and Mliswa is that of a police officer and an accused person.

Senoir Assistant Commissioner Bvudzijena dismissed the claims by Mliswa as outrageous and directed at distracting people from a criminal case in which Mliswa is an accused person.

He said commisioner general Chihuri is receiving legal advice on the way forward.
