court.jpg6 foreigners and 2 Zimbabweans who are facing charges of poaching three rhinos have made a bail application before a Harare magistrate.

The rhinos valued at US$45 000 were poached in Guruve and Masvingo.

The 8 are charged for contravening some sections of the Wild Life Act which criminalises the hunting of special animals.

They include DRC national Yemba Pauni Mulamba and his 2 sons Lomone Mulamba and Yemba Mulamba, Wiljoni Meki , Justin Tembo, Patrick Chibila of Zambia and 2 Zimbabweans Shapiro Tagwirei and Owen Godzi were arrested at a tollgate along the Harare- Masvingo highway.
