Political analysts say over and above the commitment to uphold the peace pledge political parties, candidates and supporters must be held to account for breach of peace.

The analysts also implored Zimbabweans to maintain the culture of peace which has been a hallmark of the country and one of the most valuable assets the country has had to offer all nations.

Political analysts Richard Mahomva and Deborah Peters have called for political actors to commit to the pledge and be held to account for breach of peace.

For Zimbabwe Christian Alliance Director Reverend Useni Sibanda, the peace pledge should be upheld by all Zimbabweans for the good of the motherland.
