Cross border traders in the Midlands Province, who will access loans under the $15 million scheme have been warned not to be dishonest by not paying back borrowed funds.
The rollout of the facility for cross border traders attracted scores of people seeking to access the fund in Gweru.
President of the Zimbabwe Cross Border Traders Association, Dr Killer Zivhu has however warned those seeking the funds to always pay back their loans.
He told the cross border traders that it is important for any business proprietor to be transparent if their contribution is to impact on the national economy.
The cross border traders will also receive training and other capacity building forms of support to assist them understand business operations.
The association said this is intended to ensure borrowed funds are not diverted to other uses other than the intended purpose.
