The remarks were made by Zanu PF Harare provincial chairperson of the indigenisation and economic empowerment committee, Cde Noah Mangondo during an indigenisation and economic empowerment workshop which was held in Harare’s Mt Pleasant area.

Cde Mangondo said youths should utilise the process by submitting their applications to access the funds and reiterated the need for young people to start venturing into their own businesses.

The indigenisation and economic empowerment drive was initiated as a way to empower the black majority through their national resources.

Before independence, blacks were not fully participating in the economy.
