Para Regiment and Artillery Brigade were crowned winners in the male and female categories of the annual Chief of Staff All Comers 2018 Shoot held at Cleveland Riffle Range.
The 2018 Chief of Staff All Comers Shoot drew a huge crowd of participants with the security forces team dominating the competition.
Para Regiment and Artillery Brigade were clinical in their delivery.
Speaking on behalf of the guest of honour Chief of Staff General Staff Major General David Sigauke, Brigadier General Godfrey Mupita said the annual shoot is a platform to gauge the shooting ability of the security sector.
“It’s a big day for the Zimbabwe National Army as we host the All Comers Shoot which is an opportunity to test the level of shooting within the security services as well as interact with civilian clubs which have a close link with the army,” he said.
HQ1 were runners up while Presidential Guard came third in the male category of the security forces competition.
Artillery Brigade dominated the ladies section with Presidential Guard in second and Air Force came third.
Harare City Council came first and War Veterans second in the civilian female category while Murenga dominated the men’s civilian category.
The winning teams walked away with prizes and floating trophies while individual prizes were also received by top shooters.
