The 29th edition of the OK Grand Challenge was launched at the Borrowdale Race Course at a colourful ceremony held this Wednesday (today) morning.

The launch of the 2017 OK Grand challenge was held at the traditional horse race in Borrowdale with several high profile guests in attendance.

A major attraction in this year’s race will be the main race which has grown to be one of the biggest horse races in Zimbabwe that stimulates massive spectator attendance.

The prize money is yet to be announced with the final acceptance list of horses that will compete at Borrowdale Race Course on the 3rd of June set to be unveiled a fortnight before the event.

South African horse Duffi’s Call won last year’s edition of the Grand Challenge with Windigo Bred in the United States finishing second.

White Line Fever was third with Mathematician claiming fourth place.

Tough competition is again expected at one of the biggest races on the local horse race calendar.
