olypmics.jpgZimbabwe’s Olympic medal hopeful Cuthbert Nyasango is in an upbeat mood ahead of the summer games but has reminded corporate sponsors that success is a collective process achieved after unwavering commitment by all stakeholders.

The long distance runner who qualified with an ‘A’ standard for the London 2012 marathon says he will be out to do everything properly ahead of the summer games including a 6-week tour of Europe where he hopes to work on improving his times.

Nyasango said he however cannot go it alone as challenges related to lack of adequate resources continue to daunt his efforts.

For Nyasango’s coach Benson Chauke, hopes are high that the athlete will come right at the global event after a rigorous training regime.

Nyasango boasts of support from his wife Faith and Sister Constance who are also household names in long distance running.

With Nyasango and long jumper Ngonidzashe Makusha having secured their slots at the 2012 games the call is upon corporates to partner the athletes in their build up towards London 2012.
