Normalcy is slowly returning to Maramba Secondary School at Mutawatawa Growth Point, in Murehwa after a Satanism scare hit the school resulting in parents withdrawing their children.

The Satanism scare followed mysterious illness which affected five girls at the school on Friday last week forcing parents to withdraw their children.

The affected pupils were taken to hospital where they were treated and discharged.

Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe district schools inspector Mr Botty Chimhanda confirmed the incident and said investigations to establish what transpired are underway.

When ZBC News visited the school, pupils had started coming back with more than 350 pupils out of an enrollment of 650 having turned up with lessons already underway.
