|Zanu PF youths declare war against war vets|

The Zanu PF Youth League Deputy Secretary General, Cde Kudzi Chipanga has declared war against the defiant executive leadership of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA), accusing them of indiscipline.
Members of the Zanu PF Harare Youth League converged in Harare at the provincial party offices for a rally that was attended by the wing’s leadership.
Addressing the rally, Cde Chipanga said young people have declared war against the defiant ZNLWVA’s Chairman, Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa and Secretary General, Cde Victor Matemadanda, whom he accused of indiscipline.
"There is no factionalism in the party, it is only indiscipline among party members hence the need for everyone to rally behind President Robert Mugabe," said Cde Chipanga.
There have been accusations and counter accusations within the wings of the revolutionary party in the past two weeks.
Cde Mutsvangwa, Cde Matemadanda, ZNLWVA Vice Chairman, Cde Headman Moyo and Cde Monica Mutsvangwa were on Friday booted out through a vote of no confidence but are resisting the ouster.
They have since been replaced by the Cde Mandi Chimene-led exeutive, whose other members are Cde George Mafa (Deputy Chairman) and Cde Michael Mapfumo as Secretary General.
Meanwhile, the ZNLWVA will hold a general meeting at the Zanu PF headquarters in Harare tomorrow, the 18th of February at 0900hrs.
ZNLWVA Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Douglas Mahiya invited all war veterans to attend the 'important' general meeting that he said will among other things discuss welfare issues.
