Local authorities urged to support govt |

 Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment Minister, Cde Saviour Kasukuwere has called on local authorities to complement government’s empowerment programmes by giving indigenous players investment opportunities.
Officially closing a three day inaugural Mvurwi Town Business Expo and Agricultural Show, Cde Kasukuwere challenged the local authority to prioritise service delivery and explore other avenues that enhance revenue collection to ease the burden on ratepayers.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Mvurwi Town Council, Mr. Vincent Murengwa said the exhibition has opened up marketing opportunities within and outside the town.
The Mvurwi Town Business Expo and Agricultural Show was held under the theme, “Investing in Potential”.
