Mashonaland Central Governor and Resident Minister, Advocate Martin Dinha has warned perpetrators of violence in the province that they risk being arrested.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of 11 computers worth over US$4 000 he donated to ZRP Mashonaland Central headquarters, Advocate Dinha urged police to deal decisively with people who want to cause mayhem ahead of this year’s elections.
Advocate Dinha said the donation is meant to complement the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe’s information technology drive.
In her acceptance speech, Officer Commanding Police in the province, Senior Assistant Commissioner Plaxedes Gezha said the donation will improve police efficiency.
