Zanu-PF and its counterpart, the Chinese Communist Party have been urged to continue working together in uplifting their countries’ economy so that people in the two nations can have better lives.
This came out after a six member delegation from the Chinese Communist Party paid a courtesy call on Vice President, Cde Joice Mujuru at her Munhumutapa offices in Harare this Friday.
The leader of the CCP delegation, Mr. Wu Shumin said the delegation is on an exchange programme to strengthen relations between the two parties.
He however said the two revolutionary parties should now prioritise economic development for the benefit of the majority and empowerment of the disadvantaged groups.
Speaking after meeting the Chinese delegation, Vice President Mujuru said Zanu PF as a revolutionary party should also learn the way the Chinese Communist Party communicates and spreads its ideology of unity throughout China.
“Zanu PF should emulate the respect of hierarchy and party structures in the CCP and stop washing their dirty linen in public,” said Vice President Mujuru.
The Chinese Communist Party has managed to transform the Chinese economy into a global force in a period of less than 40 years due to sound policies and discipline.
The CCP delegation is expected to visit a number of provinces namely Manicaland, Masvingo, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls on a fact finding mission.
