The visiting six members of the Chinese Communist Party paid a courtesy call on Zanu PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo where they discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the two parties.
Ambassador Khaya Moyo said the Zanu PF party leadership is looking forward to fruitful deliberations with their Chinese counterparts.
He said it is Zanu PF’s hope to see the two revolutionary parties sharing ideologies on that will strengthen their parties.
“Our parties enjoy great bilateral ties and we are quite happy to tell you that our party leadership is more than ready for the knowledge that you are going to impart to us,” said Ambassador Khaya Moyo.
Head of the visiting Chinese delegation, Mr Wu Shumin said the Chinese Communist Party as well as the people of China are fully behind Zanu PF.
He said, “The Communist party is firmly behind Zanu PF and we have a team of experts that will conduct workshops and are greatly experienced.”
This weekend the visiting delegation is going to conduct workshops which are going to be attended by the Zanu PF leadership.
In an exchange programme, Zanu PF provincial chairpersons are set to travel to China for further education on party building.
