zimbabwe-u23.jpgThe Zimbabwe Under 20 soccer team is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to prevail over Angola when the two sides meet in the first leg of an African Youth Championship qualifier at Rufaro Stadium this coming Sunday.

As match day beckons the Young Warriors are pulling all the stops in a bid to garner a positive result against Angola.

Although Young Warriors head coach Jairosi Tapela lamented the failure to engage in competitive practice matches in the build up to Sunday’s showdown, he is nevertheless looking forward to overcoming the Angolans on home soil.

“We’re working on every aspect of our game from the defence, midfield and right through to the strike force. Preparations are going well and we expect a good showing from the team on Sunday, although we’re not underestimating Angola,” said Tapela.

The Young Warriors will be keen to register a comfortable victory that will make their task in the return leg in Angola a fortnight later a little less arduous.
