The sports academy was finally born this Saturday after months of planning.

Academy director, Nicholas Chiname says he is not taking any shortcuts in the process of grooming young talent and will realign his priorities from being a supporter to putting his finances into something more significant.

“I knew all Zimbabwean stadia through my support for Lengthens FC and I realised that the team folded because it lacked good management and good players. I therefore decided to start grooming the talent myself which is what pushed me to start this. I am not taking any shortcuts in this process and that is why we have even hired reputable coaches to tutor these youngsters,” said Chiname.

The academy caters for juniors who are under the age of 18 and has since joined other established leagues like the Harare Junior League.
