motoraction logo.jpgMotor Action Coach, Joey Antipas says he intends to fine tune combinations in his team’s midfield and forwards before the return leg of the preliminary round CAF Confederation Cup against South Africa’s Black Leopards at Rufaro Stadium in two weeks' time.

1-all was good enough a result for Motor Action coach, Joey Antipas, who admits that the first competitive game for his new look outfit was used to try out new combinations.

Antipas says the lessons learnt are that there is need to place be more attention on the midfield and attacking departments which need to be refined.

While Antipas shows confidence for an anticipated rout on home turf, opponent coach Heric Vladislav  says he will try to bank on counter attacks to scrap through to the next stage.

Meanwhile, a high flying FC Platinum returned home to a heroes’ reception from fans after a sensational 4-2 win over Swaziland’s Green Mambas.

With all the three African safari representatives going for successful hunting expeditions after Hwange routed Jamhuri FC of Zanzibar 3-nil, hopes are that the trio will make it to the latter stages to preserve the country’s two slots in continental competitions.

Dynamos, who have a bye in the preliminary round will join in the first round with a date with the winner between Mozambique’s Liga Muchulumane and Mafunzo FC of Zanzibar.
