Pensioners are to benefit from a new pensioners trust, the Pensioners Union Trust of Zimbabwe (PUTZ).

Speaking to ZBC News, the chief co-ordinator of operations of PUTZ, Mr Wellington Zhanje said the trust wants to represent the grievances of pensioners in all negotiating forums.

Mr Timothy Taruvinga and Mrs Gertrude Zunde, both pensioners, said they have put their hope in the new trust because other pension houses are giving them very little money.

The trust will also help pensioners to source funds to start income generating projects.
