An unidentified man was found dead at Chibvuti farm, Goromonzi district, bringing to four the number of people who died in suspected murder cases in the same area in the past few days.

The body of the unidentified man which was in an advanced stage of decomposition was found along a stream in Chibvuti by community members.

When ZBC News arrived at the scene, scores of people from the farms around were still to come to terms with the incident which comes barely days after suspected muggings that left three people dead in the same district.

The police and CID officers from Juru Growth Point could not comment on the cause of the death.

They could not however rule out chances of a suicide as the body had a wire around the neck saying a full post-mortem will be conducted to ascertain the real cause of the death.

Some villagers who spoke to ZBC dismissed the suicidal move as they linked the death to a series of murder cases that has hit the Domboshava district.

The legislator for the area, Cde Beatrice Nyamupinga said the rate at which the murder cases are happening in her constituency is now a cause of concern.

Recently, three people were killed in Domboshava in what the police suspect was a result of muggings which could be linked to rituals.
