Zimbabwean women have been challenged to respect traditional values and morals to ensure that their families become model examples.

This emerged at a women’s conference held by the Bethsaida Apostolic Church in Harare.

The congregation during the Bethsaida Apostolic Church district conference discussed issues which are causing the disintegration of families and how widows should remain committed to their values by refraining from engaging in immoral practices.

The Chairperson for Bethsaida Apostolic Church Ruwadzano, Mrs Juliet Chibanda urged women to embrace the ongoing indigenisation and empowerment thrust which is a key to people’s development.

The women’s Ruwadzano conference is a platform for women to share their experiences and it also gives them the opportunity to draw lessons on how to maintain their homes.
