Liberation war hero, Cde Benjamin Moyo Muvhami who died on Monday in a road accident has been laid to rest at the Warren Hills Provincial Heroes Shrine in Harare.

 

He was 63.

 

Harare Provincial Administrator, Mr.  Alfred Tome said the late Cde Muvhami was a consistent cadre who continued to work for the ideals of Zanu PF.

 

He hailed Cde Muvhami for lending his full support to the empowerment of the majority of indigenous Zimbabweans.

 

The late Cde Muvhami’s son, Tafadzwa said the death of his father was tragic, considering that it was sudden, adding that they have lost a loving father.

 

Cde Muvhami assisted freedom fighters with food and clothes in Mudzi District during the liberation war when he was a headmaster at Muzezuru Primary School.

 

He is survived by his wife, Agnes, five children and six grandchildren.
