inspector sabau 2 28.10.11.jpgAt least six people were seriously injured along Seke Road when a commuter omnibus which was coming from Harare rammed into a haulage truck near Koala Farm.

According to eyewitnesses, the commuter omnibus which was allegedly travelling at high speed failed to give way to the haulage truck which had already made a turn towards Koala Farm and rammed into the trailer.

Police Spokesperson Inspector James Sabau said though investigations are not yet complete, there are indications that the accident was due to negligence.

He appealed to members of the public not to interfere with police work adding that police had scaled down operations along that high way due to the outcry over the number of road blocks.

The Harare-Chitungwiza highway has been recording many accidents and the zone near Koala Farm has become a black spot.

PRESIDENT R.G. MUGABE QUOTES

"I am here for as long as I am still sane, with good memory and will power. I thank God for giving me extra strength. I still have a bright mind; I still have will. I know our history more than you do. I know the wishes of those heroes and those who lie elsewhere more than you do. I know the wishes of the chiefs, dead and alive." - At 6th Zanu PF National People's Congress, 2014.
