ahmadinejad.jpgIranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has urged regional nations to expand ties and stand united to counter any foreign interference in their domestic affairs.

Mr Ahmadinejad told reporters in the capital, after returning from his 2-day trip to Pakistan that the problems and crises of their region have external causes and have been imposed on the regional nations and states from outside their borders.

Pointing to the Tripartite Summit of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, which ended in the Pakistani capital Islamabad yesterday, he added that all the three countries had a nearly uniform view about regional concerns.

The Iranian President also urged regional countries to put aside their suspicions and doubt towards each other to achieve progress and development.
