The clinic manager, Dr Amin Hamidzadeh, told ZBC News that the exercise was carried out in line with excellent relations between Zimbabwe and Iran.

Patients who received free treatment also expressed gratitude to the Red Crescent Society and the Islamic Republic of Iran for its valuable contributions in the medical sector.

Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution has become a monumental day in the country’s history and with relations between Zimbabwe and the Middle East nation resting on a solid footing, the country continues to provide lots of technical and financial support in various sectors of the economy and social services.
