zahara.jpgJazz music lovers will have a memorable time when South Africa’s pop sensation, Zahara, stages her maiden performance in Zimbabwe on March 2, sharing the stage with the likes of Victor Kunonga, Chiwoniso Maraire and Prudence Katomeni Mbofana.

As the 2012 entertainment calendar picks up, the visit by Zahara which follows the Mavado show held recently is expected to give music lovers a memorable time with a high profile artist known to many by her song Loliwe.

Show organiser Marxwell Mugaba says they are happy with the preparations they have made ahead of the show and have signed contracts with the artists billed to perform in Harare.

The 23-year old musician has made a feat in South Africa’s music circles and her album ‘Loliwe’ has been ranked among the best selling albums when it was released in South Africa late last year.

Local artists expected to grace the event include Victor Kunonga, Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana and Chiwoniso Mararire.
