Man born of a woman has few days on earth. like a flower he buds and blooms and soon he is blown away. Tears may follow and they will dry. we will look up to the skies, to teh mountains and everywhere bt we will not see Freedom Moyo again. till we meet again in another life, in another form we have nothing bt HOPE. HJope of what we know not. Rufu ndimadzongonyodze.

It's sad MaFree. I will miss you, will miss your smile in the newsroom and your trademark greetings to me: "Man from Belingwe"

Wadzanai Mhombera

"Boss Moyo", "MaFree", why did you have to go like this? Just like his name, he was a free person, you could be free with him, he never took us as his surbodinates, but as colleagues. This week I was planning to ask him to allow me to add his name on my CV as one of my referees. I will miss those jokes man, I remember you used to call me "Mufundisi" or "Propagandist". May your soul rest in peace.

It is sad that we lost such resourceful journalist. There is however need to see action being taken to get rid of these heavy vehicles that break down and are left on our roads inevitably taking away lives of such resourceful and excellent journalist as Freedom. For instance there is a goyet carrying bricks broken down along enterprises which caused a near fatal accident this week in Gunhill along the road linking Borrowdale rd and Enterprise Road. Such vehicles must be towed away and owners heavily fined.

MaFree was just sunshine and he had the ability to touch people and hearts very quickly. May memories of your work inspire us all to make a difference, touch lives and make the most of our lives. A sociable, likeable and bubbly Comrade. A peerless giant of broadcasting. Rest in Peace, MaFree. Hamba Kahle, lala ngoxolo. Thank you Lord for having given us such wonderful man - your smile, explosive jokes and bubbly character wil be sorely missed.
