The festive season has come and gone and for many it was a time for merry-making, but for those who over indulged the New Year has come with its usual obligations which require financial input.
The year 2011 may be best remembered for unlocking opportunities to many as the economic situation improved allowing people to have memorable moments at selected leisure spots.
With the festive season having come to an end, the realities of life are setting in, and worries over school fees top the list of concerns for many, whose over spending antics are now proving costly. Even many artists have taken a rest and the showbiz circles are unusually subdued.
But it is not all who are feeling the pinch as some revellers claim they can still afford to enjoy life over drinks without singing the January disease blues.
Whilst some revellers claim that their organisational capacity ensures they always overcome the challenges brought by the famed January Disease, others say their drinking binges are not based on the depth of their pockets but rather drowning sorrows.
January may be just another month but the way one begins a New Year is usually reflective of how well organised one is. For those in the entertainment circles, the hope is for the month to quickly come to an end and allow the good times to roll again.
