Deputy Minister of Education, Sports, Arts and Culture, Cde Lazarus Dokora and the Zimbabwe Football Association’s Board member for Finance, Retired Brigadier Elliot Kasu however emphasised the need to guard the sponsorship jealousy by taking a professional approach.

Winners of the Charity Shield final will pocket US$40 000 while the losing finalists will walk away US$20 000.
