Ngezi Platinum gaffer Tonderai “Stanza” Ndiraya and Caps United goal-poacher Dominic Chungwa were named coach and player of the month.
Statistics do not lie.
Ndiraya’s October record of three wins and one draw speaks to the effort the gaffer has been putting in steering “Madamburo” to the top of the Premier Soccer League.
To many football enthusiasts, Ndiraya’s draw against Tsholotsho at Baobab maybe viewed as a drop of important points, but the former Dynamos coach did himself a favour by beating another PSL contender Dynamos 2-nil to propel his side to the apex of the log.
Chungwa also had a fine form during the month by scoring a winner against Triangle in week 28.
Chungwa also scored a brace when Makepekepe buried fading Bulawayo giants Highlanders during Match Day 30 at the National Sports Stadium.
He also poached a goal that made the difference between his side and How Mine.
The Caps United goal-getter seems to be on the verge of the golden boot award having netted 15 goals this season.
