kickboxing.jpgKickboxers from eight provinces will descend on the capital for the National Kickboxing and Unity Cup Championships to be staged at Harare Girls High School on the 17th of this month.

The tournaments will be in line with the Zimbabwe Kickboxing Association’s drive to expose local kickboxers to frequent high level action.

The Zimbabwe Kickboxing Association’s (ZIKA) President, Tony Kamangira reckons constant competitive action against top class fighters is the best way to produce kickboxers possessing the physical and mental capacity to cope with the challenges associated with competing at international stage.

The National and Unity Cup Kickboxing Championships pitting Zimbabwe’s 10 provinces will be held in Harare at Girls High School on the 17th of this month and will parade some of the country’s accomplished kickboxers such as Nicholas Kurimira, Bernard Robben, Stanford Mpandira and Ronald Deketeke among others.
