Church leaders from across the country converged in the capital for the National Church Ministers Association and Empowerment Conference aimed at capacitating pastors for the purpose of achieving church growth and kingdom expansion.
In their role as leaders of the church, pastors have an almost limitless number of duties.
However, their welfare is often overlooked.
In order to meet the needs that affect the ministers, their families and leadership, the body of Christ must unite and devise ways of uplifting the welfare of servants of God, said the Zimbabwe Christian Ministers Association president Bishop Christopher Choto.
Church leaders who attended the event highlighted some of the challenges pastors go through in their daily endeavour to save lives.
The Constitution of Zimbabwe acknowledges freedom of worship and the government has ensured that all citizens have the liberty to enjoy any religious affiliation they prefer.
