Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Walter Mzembi

Newly appointed ambassadors to Zimbabwe have been called on to embrace Zimbabwean citizens in the Diaspora, facilitating their participation in the economic activities of the country, and not fuelling hate speech.

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Walter Mzembi made the remarks at a cocktail to celebrate the ambassadors’ assumption of duty in the country.

The new ambassadors are Mr Cho Jai – Chel of South Korea, Mrs Barbara Van Hellemond of the Netherlands, Mr George Marcantonatos of Greece, Mr Rene Marcel Cremonese of Canada and Mrs Janet Bessong Odeka of Nigeria.

President Robert Mugabe this Wednesday received letters of credence from the five new envoys who have been appointed to represent their countries in Zimbabwe.
