Mutasa South Zanu PF candidate, Misheck Mugadza says he wants to turn the constituency into a green belt that supplies horticultural produce locally and abroad once voted into power.

Mutasa receives high rainfall and for aspiring legislator Mugadza this must translate into a deliberate thrust to empower the community to embrace market gardening which will improve livelihoods and create jobs.

“My vision is of a Mutasa South that is a horticultural hub. To this end I will be setting up a training centre in the constituency. The centre will provide expertise as well as support to farmers who want to venture into horticulture. We want to dominate local markets and even export what we produce,” he said.

Zimbabwean produce is reputed for its organic nature which makes it an instant hit on the global market.
